Omega-7 – “a life changer” for dry eyes

On several occasions I’ve talked about the little known essential fatty acid Palmitoleic acid, otherwise known as omega-7.  Today, I want to share a recent conversation I had with a customer about omega-7, dry eyes and her demand (while she smiled ear to ear) that I never run out!

According to research, omega-7 offers great benefit to the body’s mucous membranes.  These are the lubricated thin layers of tissue that cover the digestive, respiratory, and urogenital tracts as well as the inner surface of the eyes.  It’s the last point that brought someone in, we’ll call her Susan.

After listening to my podcast First aid for your skin with Jen Luse, Susan decided to try Super Critical-Omega-7 from New Chapter for her chronically dry eyes.  She had been suffering for some time with the condition and had been treating it, somewhat unsuccessfully, with a combination of prescription drops and creams.

That’s when she decided to try omega-7.  Within the first month of supplementation Susan found relief!  Since then, she has been able to eliminate her medications and the concern of associated side-effects – with better results.  Susan notes that while her dry eyes are not completely gone, omega-7 has been a life changer!  It was just after sharing this last statement that Susan said, with a big smile, “Don’t you ever run out of this stuff!”

Thanks Susan for taking the time to share.

How about you?  Have you had a success story you’d like to share?
