Okay, so hopefully it’s not this bad, (I’m assuming you can see the photo to the left!), but I’m sure it’s no secret that stress is everywhere!
For many, instead of tidings of joy, the holidays bring even more stress than usual – fa la la la la that’s not good.
Not only does stress take an emotional toll with increased feelings of irritability, anxiety and hotheadedness, stress also takes a significant physical toll on the body. The cardiovascular, immune and endocrine systems are all negatively impacted.
So today, I’m joined by cell biologist and Ph. D. Ann Allworth to discuss how we can alleviate the emotional symptoms of stress while we also combat the damaging physical effects.
