In April 2009, a Harvard School of Public Health study found Omega-3 fatty acid deficiency ranked as the sixth highest killer of Americans, responsible for a whopping 72,000 to 96,000 preventable deaths yearly. With this in mind, many turn to fish oil supplements as a means of adding these essential fatty acids to the diet.
While fish oil supplements are a good approximation of eating fish, I have recently learned that the processing necessary to create fish oil products, does diminish the overall value of the oil…until now.
Today’s podcast will discuss Omega-3 fatty acid deficiency and a new fish oil supplement called Wholemega, which delivers the most potent, unadulterated wild Alaskan salmon available.
